MLB 2024 complete playoff schedule: bracket, dates and times for all the games
The 12 teams in the MLB postseason: Yankees, Orioles, Guardians, Tigers, Royals, Astros, Phillies, Brewers, Dodgers, Padres, Mets and Braves

The teams competing in the postseason in the American League and the National League have been defined. The playoffs begin this Tuesday, October 1, with the Wild Card Series.
- The Division Series will be from October 5 to 12;
- the Championship Series will be from October 13 to 22.
- If it is extended to seven games, the World Series will be played from October 25 to November 2.
The 12 teams that have a spot in the postseason are the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Guardians, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and Houston Astros in the American League, while in the National League: Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, New York Mets, and Atlanta Braves.

Also, as announced on Monday, the MLB is changing the All-Star Game uniforms.
Next year, players will wear their primary home and road uniforms instead of league-specific ones.
This decision also comes after players requested a return to the old quality of regular-season uniforms due to multiple complaints.
