This towering AAA pitcher could join the MLB soon: But who are the tallest MLB players in history?
Jacob Misiorowski, the Milwaukee Brewers’ top pitching prospect, could soon join the MLB.

Jacob Misiorowski, the Milwaukee Brewers’ top pitching prospect, is making headlines in Triple-A Nashville. Standing at 6-foot-7, the right-hander recently delivered a standout performance, throwing a 103 mph fastball—the fastest recorded by a Triple-A Nashville pitcher in the past three seasons.
Misiorowski’s arsenal includes a high-velocity fastball, a sharp slider, and a mid-80s curveball, making him a formidable presence on the mound, with top teams in the league keeping a close eye on him.
Through nine outings on the season as a whole, Misiorowski has a record of 59 strikeouts and 49 1/3 innings pitched, he has a 1.46 ERA and is tied with Joe Boyle for the best at the Minors’ top level, while his .151 average-against ranks second and his 0.89 WHIP third.

Who are the tallest ever MLB players?
As well as his impressive stats, Misiorowski stands out - quite literally - for his height. At almost 7 foot he’s no slouch, but does he make it onto the list of all-time MLB towers?
Tallest ever MLB players:
- Jon Rauch – 6'11"
- Sean Hjelle – 6'11"
- Randy Johnson – 6'10"
- Chris Young – 6'10"
- Andrew Brackman – 6'10"
- Aaron Slegers – 6'10"
- Mark Hendrickson – 6'9"
- Tyler Glasnow – 6'8"
- Dellin Betances – 6'8"
- Chris Martin – 6'8"
Jon Rauch is the tallest player in MLB history, measuring 6-foot-11. A right-handed reliever, Rauch pitched from 2002 to 2013, logging 11 seasons with eight teams. He was known for his calm demeanour, hard fastball, and menacing presence on the mound.
Rauch recorded 62 saves and over 500 strikeouts during his career. He also pitched for Team USA in the 2000 Olympics, earning a gold medal. While his height made headlines, Rauch proved durable and reliable, earning a key bullpen role on several squads. His massive frame and heavily tattooed arm made him one of the most visually distinct players in history. Rauch retired in 2013 after 11 Major League seasons.
