NBA PLAYOFFS

Are the Phoenix Suns eliminated if they lose game 4 against the Timberwolves today?

Minnesota was one of the best teams in the league during the regular season and they are proving they are title contenders against Phoenix in the playoffs.

Update:
Minnesota was one of the best teams in the league during the regular season and they are proving they are title contenders against Phoenix in the playoffs.

Probably not many believed the Timberwolves would be playing at such a high level before the start of the regular season, but it seems to be Chris Finch’s players year.

The Timberwolves have made an impact in the first NBA playoff round, and are making light work of their opponents, the Phoenix Suns. Minnesota leads the series 3-0, so they are just one victory away from advancing to the next round. That means Kevin Durant, Devin Booker & co. have no more error margin and will need to win four consecutive games if they don’t want to be eliminated.

However, many things will have to change if the Suns want to record a historic comeback. The Timberwolves are a very compact team this term and the likes of Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert, and Karl-Anthony Towns are in great shape.

Edwards and the Timberwolves want to make history

The Timberwolves fans are excited about their team’s performances and hope to see them advance in the competition.

A team with a 3-0 lead has never lost its series so Minnesota have a good reason to be optimistic heading to Game 4. Whether it’s a four-game sweep of the Suns or not, if the Timberwolves manage to record their fourth win, it will be the first time in 20 years that the team wins a playoff series.

It would also be an important moment for Edwards, as it would be the first time he wins a playoff series.

“I haven’t won a series yet. I’ve been sent home twice so I’m thirsty to get it.”, the 22-year-old star said.

In their last game, the Timberwolves defeated the Suns 126-109. Edwards scored 36 points, 18 in the fourth quarter, and added nine rebounds.
