Here’s how LeBron James has been affected by the LA wildfires
The Lakers player admitted that the last few days have been complicated due to the devastating fires that have swept through California.

LeBron James has faced challenges in recent days with the Lakers, largely due to the devastating wildfires that have impacted Los Angeles and other parts of Southern California.
The Lakers star confirmed this after Wednesday’s win against the Miami Heat, acknowledging that while the experience has been emotionally taxing, he remains fully committed to giving his all for the team in the NBA.
LeBron and his family were evacuated from their home due to the intense wildfires and are currently staying in a hotel until it is safe to return.
“There have been a lot of emotions,” LeBron shared during a post-game conference. “I have a couple of close friends who lost their homes. Personally, I’ve been displaced. My family and I had to evacuate Thursday night, so we’ve been staying in a hotel since returning from Dallas. We’re trying to figure it out but staying strong for each other.”
LeBron continues to perform for Lakers
Despite the emotional strain of being evacuated, LeBron was instrumental in the Lakers’ victory against the Heat, contributing 22 points, five rebounds, and nine assists.
LeBron expressed gratitude that, so far, his home has been spared from the fires and remains hopeful that it will remain intact. He looks forward to returning home and resuming a sense of normalcy with his family.
“Our house hasn’t been touched since we left—it’s still standing, and we’re thankful for that,” LeBron added. “Hopefully, it stays that way. We’re patiently waiting for the time when we can go back and come together as a family in our home.”
