Mavs vs. Suns Game 7: times, how and where to watch 2022 NBA Playoffs online
Monty Williams’ top-seeded Suns are on the road for the seventh and final game, still reeling from the humbling 113-86 defeat the last time out.
A place in the Western Conference Finals will go to whichever team emerges as the winners at the Footprint Center on Sunday night. After losing the first two games in the series, the Mavs, inspired by Luka Doncic and buoyed by a resolute belief, have managed to heroically level the series twice.
The last time out, they served the Monty Williams’ team a 113-86 hammering - Doncic leading the Mavericks with 33 points, eight assists, and 11 rebounds while Deandre Ayton topped the Suns individual figures with 21 points. “No turnovers and attack the paint is the key to the games,” Doncic said afterwards. “If we win, it’s going to be amazing. We’ve got another game and it’s fun, man, it’s playoffs and we’re gonna give our everything”.
After a regular season in which they ended 64-18 - a franchise record, and the most road victories (32), the Suns are the top seeds in the Western Conference. Both teams have managed to protect their homecourt during the series and Monty Williams will be hoping a sell-out crowd in Phoenix will spur them on again. This will be the Suns’ 10th appearance in a Game 7 - the last time was in 2006 when they beat the Clippers 127-107 in the semi-finals.
Apart from long-term casualty Dario Saric, who is recovering from surgery on a torn meniscus, the Suns are at full strength.
As for the Mavs, Tim Hardaway is out for the series with a foot injury.
