The Miami Heat star Kyle Lowry, who has only played in five games this postseason, is still struggling with his hamstring injury.

Miami announced earlier today that the 36-year-old has been ruled out of Game 1 against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

This doesn’t come as a surprise as Lowry has missed six of the Heats’ past eight games due to the persistent injury. The six-time All-Star initially suffered it back in Game 3 of the first round against the Atlanta Hawks.

When he returned with Miami for Game 4 and 5, Lowry re-injured his hamstring which kept him off the court until today.

With Lowry sidelined in the postseason, Miami has a 6- 0 record.
