NBA Conference finals schedule set as Knicks, Pacers, Thunder and Timberwolves reach final four
New York takes on Indiana in the East while top-seeded OKC faces Minnesota in the West.

The NBA playoffs are heating up, and the league has officially released the schedule for the Conference Finals after confirming the four teams still in the hunt for a title: the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves in the West, and the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers in the East.

Outlook in the East
A classic showdown awaits in the Eastern Conference between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers. The Knicks clinched their series 4-2 over the Boston Celtics, who lost their star player Jayson Tatum to surgery to repair a torn right Achilles tendon. The Pacers, meanwhile, pulled off an upset by knocking out the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, winning the series 3-1.
New York, who finished the regular season third in the East, will host Indiana – fourth in the standings – at Madison Square Garden, beginning Wednesday, May 21.

Outlook in the West
In the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder booked their spot in dramatic fashion, crushing the Denver Nuggets 125–93 in Game 7 to take the series 4-3. On the other side of the bracket, the Minnesota Timberwolves cruised past the Golden State Warriors 4-1 – a series in which the Warriors were without Stephen Curry, sidelined by a Grade 1 strain in his left hamstring.

The Thunder, who finished as the top seed in the division, will host the T-Wolves, who finished the season ranked sixth, at the Paycom Center, beginning Tuesday, May 20.
