The Western Conference Finals just flipped and now everything is on the line in Game 6. After dropping Game 5 on the road, the San Antonio Spurs return home facing elimination against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who now hold a 3-2 series lead.

Game 6 is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026, with tip-off set for 8:30 p.m. ET.

This is a win-or-go-home scenario for San Antonio, while Oklahoma City has their first chance to close out the series and advance to the NBA Finals.

The game shifts back to San Antonio, giving the Spurs a critical home-court advantage in a must-win situation. The energy inside Frost Bank Center is expected to be intense, especially after the emotional swing of Game 5.

Series outlook: Spurs on the brink

San Antonio will need to re-establish Wembanyama early and get secondary scoring from Devin Vassell and De’Aaron Fox. They’ll need to control the tempo and avoid OKC’s transition bursts.
