Update:

The UConn Huskies won the NCAA national championship earlier this month thanks in large part to senior guard Paige Bueckers, who put up 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists in their 82-59 rout over the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Now, Bueckers is on her way to the WNBA as the Draft kicks off. And she’s already turning heads.

Paige Buckers stuns in orange carpet outfit

Bueckers is looking the part of a professional basketball player as she gets ready for the WNBA Draft. She’s expected to be selected No. 1 overall, so all eyes were already going to be on her, but she made sure she sparkled tonight.

Wearing a dark purple suit with wide-leg pants and a matching vest and blazer, Bueckers wore her long hair wavy and down to complete the sleek look. Social media, of course, sang her praise. It’s fair to say that Bueckers is as impressive off the court as she is on it.

Bueckers just finished her fourth college basketball season, with an average 19.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. In her career, she averaged 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
