Victor Wembanyama Game 4 highlights: Spurs shut down Thunder to even West finals
Victor Wembanyama leads dominant two-way performance as Spurs hold Thunder to historic low and tie Western Conference Finals 2-2.

The Western Conference Finals just turned into a best-of-three, and it’s largely because of Victor Wembanyama. The San Antonio Spurs superstar delivered a dominant Game 4 performance, finishing with 33 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocks to lead a 103-82 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With the victory, the Spurs evened the series at 2-2 and completely shifted momentum heading into Game 5.
The timing made the night even bigger. Just hours earlier, Wembanyama had been named to the All-NBA First Team for the first time in his career, and followed it with one of his most complete playoff performances yet.
The kind of sequence Spurs fans are going to replay and speak about for YEARS whenever they talk about Victor Wembanyama’s rise and HUGE playoff moments.

A two-way takeover that changed the series
From the opening quarter, San Antonio looked like the more aggressive and composed team. Once the Spurs grabbed the lead midway through the first, they never gave it back.
Wembanyama set the tone on both ends. Offensively, he scored at all three levels, including a buzzer-beating shot to close the first half. Defensively, his presence altered everything - protecting the rim, contesting shots, and disrupting Oklahoma City’s rhythm.

The result was one of the worst playoff performances in Thunder history. Oklahoma City shot just 33% from the field and finished with 82 total points, their second-lowest scoring output ever in the postseason. It was also their lowest-scoring game of the entire season.
It's been over FOUR YEARS since the Thunder failed to reach 90 PTS. The Spurs absolutely clamped the reigning champs in Game 4! 😳🔒 pic.twitter.com/EyF0weh3Rx

Supporting cast steps up behind Wembanyama
While Wembanyama was the clear focal point, San Antonio’s supporting cast delivered in key moments. Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell each added 13 points, providing steady scoring on the perimeter. Meanwhile, De’Aaron Fox contributed a well-rounded performance with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.
The Spurs’ balance, combined with elite defense, made it nearly impossible for Oklahoma City to find any consistent offense.

Thunder struggle despite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander effort
On the other side, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was limited to 19 points, a quiet night by his standards after another All-NBA First Team selection.
The Thunder were also shorthanded, missing key contributors due to injury, which further exposed their lack of offensive rhythm. Nothing seemed to work, from perimeter shooting to interior scoring, against San Antonio’s length and defensive pressure.
Momentum shifts as series becomes best-of-three
What looked like a Thunder-controlled series just days ago has completely flipped. With the series now tied 2-2, the pressure shifts back to Oklahoma City heading into Game 5 on their home floor. For San Antonio, the formula is clear. Continue playing through Wembanyama and maintain the defensive intensity that defined Game 4.
