What time is the NBA trade deadline today, Feb 6?
Time is running out for NBA teams to make last minute trades with the deadline looming.

One name dominates the 2025 NBA trade window with the shock move of Slovenian star Luka Doncic leaving Dallas Mavericks to join LA Lakers.
Doncic who has spent his entire NBA career so far with the Mavericks since moving from Real Madrid in 2018, will now link up with veteran superstar LeBron James in the search for the NBA championship much coveted by the player and Lakers fans.

The deal, being cited by many as the ‘trade of the century’ also saw Anthony Davis moving to Dallas along with Max Christie. The Lakers will not only receive Doncic, but also Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris.
Meanwhile, Utah Jazz will get the Lakers’ Jalen Hood-Schifino and two second-round picks in the 2025 Draft: one from the Los Angeles Clippers and the other from the Mavericks. Finally, the Lakers will send a 2029 first-round Draft pick to the Mavericks.
Deadline Day
The NBA trade deadline is officially 3pm (ET) today (February 6) and one of the final big moves seems to involve Jimmy Butler swapping Florida for the Bay Area with a move from the Heat to the Warriors. Neither team has made the trade official but the move is being widely reported by a number of reliable sources.
