Caitlin Clark is currently considered the best player in college basketball, and next week, she will have the opportunity to seek revenge. This is thanks to the Iowa Hawkeyes’ recent 89-68 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes, which secured their spot in the Elite Eight.

On April 5th, Clark and the Hawkeyes will take on the LSU Tigers, led by Angel Reese. This game is a rematch of last year’s NCAA tournament championship, in which the University of Louisiana defeated Iowa to win the title despite Iowa being the favorite.

In order to advance to the Elite Eight, Caitlin needed to score 29 points and provide 15 assists in the game against Colorado. The other four starters from Iowa also managed to score in double figures with Sydney Affolter scoring 15 points, Gabbie Marshall and Kate Martin scoring 14 points each, and Hannah Stuelke scoring 11 points.

When is the game scheduled between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the LSU Tigers?

The region’s Elite Eight will take place at the MVP Arena in Albany, New York. The game between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the LSU Tigers will be played on April 5, at a time yet to be determined. The Final Four and the championship game will be played at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, home of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. Last year’s match-up between Iowa and the Hawkeyes drew in 9.9 million viewers, making it the most-watched women’s basketball game in the history of the United States.
