How come they compare Bronny James to a Bugatti?

Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas compared the son of the future member of the Hall of Fame, Lebron James, to the engine of an Italian-manufactured car.

Bronny James’ future in the NBA is yet to be defined, and his father, LeBron, dreams of playing on the same team soon in the future. The son of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is adapting to the collegiate level with the University of Southern California, and an NBA player, Gilbert Arenas, compared him to the Bugatti engine.

After seeing the level of Bronny James in his first games with USC after recovering from a heart problem, Gilbert Arenas sees a lot of potential in him. He even said that he still has a lot to prove, but from what he has seen so far, he sees him as similar to Jrue Holiday, but he has a lot of room for improvement.

Bronny James has room for improvement

Bronny is like Jrue Holiday, but a little more athletic,” Arenas said on his ‘No Chill’ podcast. We still don’t know what he’s capable of. He has to become a Tiger. He has the engine of a Bugatti, but he is driving the speed limit. He doesn’t want a fine. So he is using his body right now,” commented the former NBA player.

The comments from the 31st overall pick in the NBA Draft came before Bronny made his debut for USC last December. Many experts do not believe that LeBron James’ son will be the first pick when he decides to enter the NBA Draft, but he can be chosen in the first round.

“If he enters the Draft and has to play one-on-one with the other selections, no one is going to dominate him,” Arenas commented. In his first 10 college games, Bronny James averages 5.8 points per game, and it is expected that his numbers with USC will improve as the season progresses.
