What four teams were chosen for the College Football Playoff?
With the ever-dominant Georgia Bulldogs back in the mix, it’s going to be a tough time for TCU, Michigan and Ohio State in the 2022-23 College Football Playoffs.

The 2022-23 College Football Playoffs are now set and the four teams on the slate ready to go. Let’s take a look at who they are and when they’re going to play for College Football’s biggest prize.
Which 4 teams will compete for the CFP National Championship?
On Sunday 4th, December the four teams selected to the 2022-23 College Football Playoffs were announced and with that the we’ve now got an epic pair of games to look forward. Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State are the chosen ones and in truth, it couldn’t have been any other way. Where Ohio State’s 11-1 Buckeyes are concerned, they actually moved up a spot following USC’s loss in the Pac-12 game on Friday. What that means is that alongside Michigan’s Wolverines, the Buckeyes will give the Big 10 two teams in the playoffs, for the first time in the CFP’s nine-year history.
Where TCU (12-1) is concerned, the Horned Frogs coach Sonny Dykes admitted that he was unsure whether they would be selected for the playoffs, following their overtime loss in the Big 12 championship game to Kansas State. “We had a little bit of a sleepless night, but appreciate the committee’s confidence in our players and our program,” Dykes said on Sunday. “I think it’s all you can ask for at the beginning of the season.” That of course, is in direct contrast to the position of Georgia (13-0) and Michigan (13-0), both of whom are in the playoffs for the second straight year. Indeed, both teams won their respective conference games with relative ease and will now look to become only the fourth team to win the CFP with an undefeated record. In truth, both of them will be gunning for each other after Georgia destroyed Michigan in the semifinals last season.
