Women’s NCAA Final Four basketball ticket prices exceed men’s on resale platforms
Anticipation is sky-high in both Cleveland and Phoenix ahead of the NCAA Final Four basketball tournaments.
March Madness 2024 is approaching its conclusion with the women’s Final Four set to get underway at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday (5 April) with matchups pitting South Carolina Gamecocks against the NC State Wolfpack in the first semi-final, with the Iowa Hawkeyes taking on the UConn Huskies in the other.

The men’s competition too is into the definitive stage with both Final Four games set to be staged in Glendale, Arizona with the winners advancing to the national championship game on Monday 8 April.

The semi-finals will be played on Saturday 6 April: Purdue vs NC State is at 6:09pm ET/3:09pm PT, before UConn meet Alabama at 9:20pm ET/6:20pm PT.
The winners of each last-four clash will face off in the national championship game on Monday 8 April, with tip-off scheduled for 9:20pm ET/6:20pm PT.

Interest is sky-high for both tournaments with added interest in the women’s competition being generated by the achievements of Caitlin Clark. The 22-year-old plays for Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big Ten Conference and is the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer and is regarded as one of the greatest players in college basketball history.
Clark’s presence in the finals has seen demand for games at the FieldHouse in Cleveland rocket and even though prices have dipped in the past 24 hours via resale platforms such as StubHub, there was a period on Tuesday where tickets for the women’s competition eclipsed those of the men’s tournament with the minimum ticket price on StubHub to get into the Men’s Final Four being $571 as opposed to the $970 SubHub were offering for the Women’s Final Four.
