Update:

The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions for the second time in their history after a surprisingly comfortable victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, and few people are happier about it than actor Bradley Cooper.

The “Hangover” star, who was born and grew up just outside Philadelphia, is a huge Eagles fan and was present at Caesars Superdome to watch his team win its second championship seven years after its first.

After the game, Cooper gave a brief interview on the field to Fox Sports, and spoke in glowing terms about Nick Sirianni’s current group of players and quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was named Super Bowl MVP.

The 50-year-old was clearly emotional as he contemplated the Eagles’ achievement and his passionate speech will have resonated with fans who follow their team through thick and thin, in any sport.

Bradley Cooper’s emotional speech will resonate with every fan

“I’m just one of thousands and thousands that get the opportunity to love this team, and live for this team, and be a part of Philadelphia.

“Y’know, I used to come with my dad, and then I can bring my daughter. It’s just a beautiful thing in life. It’s a miracle. I’m so blessed to be here.

I love this team so much. I’m so happy for (owner) Jeff (Lurie) and Lane (Johnson) and (Jalen) Hurts, and everybody. What a squad!

“Oh, man, Jalen deserves it,” Cooper responded when pressed on Hurts. “Y’know, people are always saying this and that, but this guy’s just a killer, he’s the best”.

Quarterback Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP after leading his team to victory. The 26-year-old had 16 completions on 22 passes for 221 yards, two touchdown passes, and one interception, and added 11 carries for 72 yards and another rushing touchdown on a famous Eagles' tush push.
