Update:

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings was in the headlines last week after he took a hit below the belt from Carolina Panthers defensive back Tre’von Moehrig. Moehrig said Jennings was “doing some extra stuff” after a play, which sparked his punch to Jennings’ goods. Jennings later slapped Moehrig in the face in response, and Moehrig ended up getting a one-game suspension.

Well, Jennings was apparently not done pissing people off. On Sunday, he made a few more enemies when the Niners beat the Cleveland Browns.

“He’s a hoe, and I want that known”

The game was pretty uneventful for the most part, with the Browns taking a 26-8 beating. While Jennings caught four passes for 39 yards and a touchdown during the game, most of the drama was all apparently coming straight from his mouth, with Browns defensive tackle Shelby Harris speaking out against him after the game.

In the third quarter, Browns defender Maliek Collins was carted off the field with an injury and Jennings made some comments that did not sit well with the Browns players, notably Harris.

“He’s a hoe and I want that known. I see why he got punched in the nuts,” said Harris. “He said some things that you should not say to another man, ever. I don’t respect it because you say it and run behind your o-line. That’s some real soft shit and I want that known.“

“I see why someone punched him in the nuts and I’m surprised nobody punched him in the jaw yet,” he said.

Another Browns defender, star player Myles Garrett, was a bit more polite about it, but he still condemned Jennings’ behavior and comments.

“I can’t speak for how he was raised,” Garrett said. “He had a lot to say that was demeaning and disparaging towards some of our players.”

The Browns fell to 3-9 on the season after the loss, while the Niners improved to 9-4.
