Update:

The Kansas City Chiefs ended their 2024 season at 15-2, with quite a lot of those wins being last-minute comeback victories won by just a score. Still, the Chiefs have been a seemingly unstoppable force in the last near-decade, winning the AFC West crown the last nine years in a row, the AFC title in five of the last six years, and appearing in five of the last six Super Bowls with three titles.

But one NFL analyst predicts their record will drop in 2025.

Daniel Jeremiah predicts worse record for Chiefs in 2025

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah spoke on the Rich Eisen show and explained why he doesn’t expect the Chiefs to have another 15-2 season in 2025.

“I’m looking at that schedule,” said Jeremiah. “I’m looking at the Baltimore Ravens...that is a really, really good football team right there.”

“And I’m not saying they’re gonna lose all these games, but when you look on there and you see Baltimore, and you see Detroit, and you see Buffalo...and two games with Denver, and the Chargers always play them tough. Gosh, you’re gonna go play on Thanksgiving and on Christmas - those are short weeks.”

Last season, the Bills were the Chiefs’ only loss until the very last game, when they rested their starters against the Broncos. But their game against the Ravens as well as two against the Chargers were won by just one score.

Jeremiah thinks the Chiefs will still make it to the playoffs and expects them to go 12-5 realistically, rather than 15-2.
