Update:
The Packers - Cowboys NFL Wild Card game is a hotly anticipated event - here’s how much it will cost to be there.

The Dallas Cowboys are set to host the Green Bay Packers in their NFL Wild Card game on Sunday 14 January (4.30 p.m. ET/1.30 p.m. PT).

The away side finished the regular season as the second-best team in the AFC North section, behind the Detroit Lions. As for Dallas, they ended up finished top in the NFC East standings, with 12 victories and five losses and Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons for most of the season.

A cold night in Texas

AT&T Stadium will be the very cold setting for this intriguing clash between these sides, with there a 40% chance of snow. The adverse weather conditions have already called off the Bills - Steelers game in the run-up to the weekend’s ties. Fortunately for fans, given AT&T stadium is dome-shaped, the weather should have little to no effect on the contest.

It will be the ninth time the two iconic franchises play against each other in the postseason, and they are currently tied for the most playoff meetings between two teams all time, giving the game a personal, almost vengeful feeling.

Ahead of the clash, McCarthy said that the last time they played was “a great game”, while adding that “Dak and I have spoken about the particulars of the game time and time again, and even more so when you go through different situations. There were situations in that game that came up, and now that we’re in the same offence, he can see the similarities and why we do what we do, and really the history about it. We’ve talked about that game a number of times.”
