The NFL has announced that the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, and Cleveland Browns will serve as the designated home teams for the international games scheduled to take place in London during the upcoming season.
The Jaguars will play at Wembley Stadium, while the Jets and Browns will host their respective games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
As of now, the official opponents and dates for these matchups have not been revealed. The full NFL schedule for the next season is expected to provide further clarity.
Jaguars: a London tradition
The Jaguars have played 13 games in London, establishing a strong tradition of appearances in the UK. They hold a record of 7-6 in those games.
The Jets have participated in four international games, three of which were in London. In their most recent outing this season, they lost 23-17 to the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Browns, on the other hand, have only previously played once in London. That game took place in 2017, and they also faced the Vikings, suffering a defeat.
Additional international games
The NFL has also planned international games in Madrid, Spain, and Berlin, Germany, for the upcoming season. However, the teams traveling to these locations have yet to be confirmed.
