Mason Rudolph and Miles Killebrew at Trump rally: Steelers speak out in response to fan criticism
The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up for the new season after a late collapse last year. Now they are dealing with a bit of in-house upheaval.

As if the Pittsburgh Steelers offseason hasn’t been bumpy enough, they are now dealing with an uprising from some of their fans after a couple of Pittsburgh players were spotted at a rally for President Donald Trump.
Rudolph, Killebrew spark reaction
After a late season collapse led to a rebuilding of the roster, with stars coming and stars going, and quarterbacks departing, the Steelers upcoming season in shrouded in mystery. There is still a big hole at the quarterback position, and the one QB they do have is now in the eye of the storm in Pittsburgh.
Mason Rudolph was one of the two Steelers who were in attendance of Friday’s rally held by President Trump. The other current player that showed up to support the second term Commander in Chief was safety Miles Killebrew.

That sparked outrage from some Steelers fans. In fact, there were so many complaintS that the Steelers decided to respond to the people who took time to write them voicing their concern.
Steelers statement

Patience has been running thin in the Steele City over the last couple years as the offense has failed to live up to the sensational defense on the other side of the ball. They are still looking for someone to come in and replace Ben Roethlisberger at the QB position, and Mason Rudolph may not have won too many fans over the weekend.
