Draft Day is finally upon us, and Dolphins fans are not worried about Miami having no top picks this year. Who would when they have Tyreek Hill on their team?

The Miami Dolphins are not having a loud night on Thursday, even with all the noise the 2022 NFL Draft is bringing. Miami has traded away all of their picks, including all the ones they had over the last few years.

This year, the Dolphins not only don’t have a first round pick, but also do not have a pick until the 102nd overall pick, a compensatory selection (third-round pick) they acquired last year with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Dolphins have something else: Hill

The Dolphins acquire another treasure though: Tyreek Hill.

And because Draft talent is not guaranteed, franchises like the Dolphins rely on their elite star power instead. That’s why they chose a superstar in exchange for picks that could have possibly ended up as average starters or insipid talent.

The Seattle Seahawks also received three 1st round picks for Russell Wilson, and followed the same mindset. As did the Lions with Matthew Stafford, and the Green Bay Packers with Tae Adams.

At the end of the day, it’s up to these teams to go for guaranteed talent, or risk potential draft picks that ‘could’ become great additions.
