NFL trade deadline tracker: Last minute deals and moves
As the NFL trade deadline approaches, teams are making some last-minute moves in hopes of a playoff push or a better future.

The 2025 NFL trade deadline is almost here, and the league is buzzing with last-minute trades, surprises, and blockbuster deals. All 32 teams have until 4 p.m. ET today (Tuesday, November 4), to make moves before the window officially closes, and several teams waited until the last minute to attempt to bolster their rosters for the playoff push.
Here’s a rundown of the biggest trades and developing rumors from deadline day.
Eagles, Cowboys, Colts dominate a busy NFL trade deadline
Another Bbockbuster in Dallas: Cowboys acquire Quinnen Williams from Jets
Just when it seemed like the Cowboys were done dealing, Jerry Jones pulled off another blockbuster. Dallas landed All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams from the Jets in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick,a 2027 first-round, and DT Mazi Smith, adding a proven interior force to a defense that already acquired linebacker Logan Wilson earlier in the day. The move caps a stunning fire sale in New York and signals that Jones is all-in on reshaping the Cowboys’ identity through a tougher, more disruptive front seven.

Blockbuster: Sauce Gardner traded to the Colts
In the shocker of the day, the Jets traded All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for two first-round picks and WR Adonai Mitchell. Gardner, just 25 years old and fresh off signing a massive four-year, $120 million extension in July, gives the Colts a star corner as they push to win the AFC South.
For New York, it’s a shocking reset move. The Jets now stockpile premium picks for the 2026 draft after a disappointing start under new head coach Aaron Glenn.

Cowboys strike first: Dallas trades for Logan Wilson
The Cowboys kicked off deadline day by acquiring linebacker Logan Wilson from the Bengals in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick in 2026. Dallas’ defense has struggled this season, and Jerry Jones clearly believes the 29-year-old veteran can stabilize the middle of the field. Wilson brings leadership and consistency, two things the Cowboys have lacked defensively all year.
Eagles continue to collect talent
No surprise here. Howie Roseman and the Eagles were once again among the most aggressive teams before the deadline. In the past week, Philadelphia added cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter II, plus pass rusher Jaelan Phillips from the Dolphins. It’s an all-in push for a repeat Super Bowl run.
Bears add edge depth from Browns
After losing defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo to a season-ending injury, the Bears acquired Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and a seventh-round pick from the Browns in exchange for a sixth-rounder. Tryon-Shoyinka, a former first-rounder, hadn’t made much noise in Cleveland, but gives Chicago depth down the stretch.
Seahawks land WR Rashid Shaheed from Saints
The Seahawks added more speed for Sam Darnold by acquiring Rashid Shaheed from the Saints for fourth- and fifth-round picks. Shaheed is averaging nearly 15 yards per catch for his career and should immediately become a deep threat in Seattle’s high-powered offense.
Jaguars trade for WR Jakobi Meyers
The Jaguars were also active, sending fourth- and sixth-round picks to the Raiders for wide receiver Jakobi Meyers. With Travis Hunter sidelined, Meyers should slot in as a reliable target alongside rookie standout Brian Thomas Jr.
Other moves and rumblings
- Ravens added pass-rusher Dre’Mont Jones from the Titans for a conditional fifth-rounder.
- Vikings could still add a veteran QB for depth after Carson Wentz’s season-ending injury.
- Dolphins reportedly fielded calls on Jaylen Waddle, Bradley Chubb, and Minkah Fitzpatrick, but no blockbuster deal materialized.
- Lions have been exploring offensive line depth after losing guard Christian Mahogany to injury.
- Steelers signed Marquez Valdes-Scantling to their practice squad and were exploring more WR trades.
While the 2025 deadline didn’t deliver the same chaos as years past, the day still featured significant shifts, with none bigger than Sauce Gardner’s shocking move to Indianapolis. Contenders like the Eagles and Cowboys loaded up for playoff runs, while others like the Jets and Raiders re-evaluated for the future.
