Let’s have a look at how the voting works and who made it in.

NFLPA 2023/24 All-Pro First Team: voting process

The selection criteria, as determined by the association, focuses on consistency, availability, and positional understanding.

  • Eligibility: Only active NFL players had voting rights, limited to one vote each
  • Fairness: Players were barred from voting for themselves or any teammates
  • Health and Performance: Athletes who missed five or more games by Week 15 were deemed ineligible
  • Positional Knowledge: Players voted within their own position groups, ensuring informed decisions

Special Teams selections

Special teams players, or “core teamers,” were chosen through nominations by locker room leaders, adding another layer of peer recognition to the process.
