Swifties get their revenge in the NFL trade deadline: This Eagles player was traded and Taylor Swift are celebrating
The Philadelphia Eagles are currently offloading a large portion of their Super Bowl winning team, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson was the latest to leave Philly.

The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are currently in the midst of slashing their title winning roster as free agency starts to heat up. C.J. Gardner-Johnson was the latest to be shipped out of Philly, and Taylor Swift fans everywhere are rejoicing.
CJGJ no longer an Eagle
If you take a shot at Taylor Swift, you take a shot at her millions, maybe billions of faithful fans all over the globe. C.J. Gardner-Johnson might be finding that out the hard way after jabbing both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in the post Super Bowl celebrations.
Gardner-Johnson was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Houston Texans for left guard Kenyon Green on Tuesday afternoon, and Swifties are thinking that the pop star might have had something to do with it. “Taylor Swift somehow worked her magic to get C.J. Gardner-Johnson traded out of Philly after that parade shirt,” said one Swiftie on X.

The shirt that the T-Swift fan is referring to is actually a hoodie that Gardner-Johnson was seen wearing during the Eagles Super Bowl parade, that said “Swifties can LIX my b**ls.” The LIX of course being the reference to Super Bowl LIX that the Eagles won, beating Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Not one, but two shots at T-Swift
Those weren’t the only derogatory words or actions CJGJ had for Swift and her boyfriend. Soon after the game, even before the parade, the defensive back how will now be wearing a Texans uniform, posted a picture of him and Kelce during the Super Bowl with the quote “Should’ve stayed with that thick s**t.”
The caption was another shot at Swift as Gardner-Johnson suggested that the KC tight end should have stayed with his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole. Nicole was in attendance at the Super Bowl in New Orleans and seen celebrating the Eagles win on the field after the game.
Now that Gardner-Johnson will be playing for the Texans, there could be a potential match up of CJGJ vs. Kelce and the Swifties in store for us next season. Kelce was mulling retirement after the season, but has since assured that he will be playing for at least another year.
