The insane cost of a ticket to the Commanders-Lions Divisional playoff game
The top NFC seed Detroit Lions host the No. 6 Washington Commanders this Sunday night in the NFC Divisional Round and attending will cost a pretty penny.

The Washington Commanders will head to Detroit this Saturday to face the NFC’s top seed Lions in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels stunned fans as he took them to a shocking win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.
The Commanders have had a great season, winning their first playoff game in 19 years with Daniels and new head coach Dan Quinn. That, coupled with a Lions team that’s fiending for a Super Bowl run makes for some must-watch football.
The high cost of the Commanders-Lions Divisional game
NFL games are not typically known for being the cheapest, and especially not if it’s a playoff game. But the Commanders and Lions game at Ford Field this weekend is even more expensive than your average postseason game.
According to TickPick, the average price for a ticket to this NFC Divisional game is a whopping $991. That’s the most expensive non-Super Bowl NFL game on record.
The Lions take all three of the top spots for most expensive NFL games on record (besides the Super Bowl). This Saturday’s Divisional game has surpassed last year’s Divisional match between the Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which had an average of $948 ticket cost. The next-most expensive game on record was last season’s Wild Card game between the Lions and Los Angeles Rams ($694).
