Update:

The Dallas Cowboys had a disappointing 2024 season, to say the least. And not in their typical “get your hopes up just to let you down after one playoff game” type of disappointment. This time, they didn’t even make it to the playoffs.

As the 2025 season quickly approaches, the Cowboys are making some changes - from exciting (hi, George Pickens) to underwhelming (hi, Brian Schottenheimer). But we’ll finally get to have a look at how some of those changes play out with the start of training camp next month, and the NFL has now released all the information.

Dallas Cowboys training camp: Dates and locations

The Cowboys will report to their usual spot in Oxnard, California in just over a month with rookies and veterans expected to arrive on the same day - Monday, July 21. Here are the details:

  • Site: Staybridge Suites
  • Location: Oxnard, California
  • Reporting date: 7/21 (all players - rookies and veterans)
  • Joint practice sessions: August 5 in Oxnard with the Los Angeles Rams

Following training camp, the Cowboys will have their first preseason game on Saturday, August 9 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Here is the Cowboys’ full preseason schedule:

  • August 9: Cowboys at Rams - 7 p.m. ET
  • August 16: Cowboys vs. Ravens - 7 p.m. ET
  • August 22: Cowboys vs. Falcons - 8 p.m. ET

The Cowboys kick off the regular season with the opening game on Thursday, September 4 against the reigning Super Bowl champions and their grand NFC East foes, the Philadelphia Eagles.
