These are the social just messages that will be featured in the NFL end zones in 2025 including one significant change

The NFL will continue to display social justice messages in the end zone of the fields for all 32 teams in the 2025-26 season. Here’s what they will say.

Update:

In 2020, as the world was navigating a global pandemic, people were masking up and gathering around the United States to protest the brutal murder by a police officer of an unarmed Black man named George Floyd. That sparked a national focus on police brutality, racism, and inequality within the United States.

Soon after, the NFL launched a campaign in which they started displaying social justice messages in the end zones of games as a way of promoting diversity and inclusion. The messaging has continued every year since then and will continue in the upcoming 2025-26 season as well.

The NFL’s end zone update carries a powerful off-field story

For all games, the traveling team will have the message “It Takes All of Us” displayed in their end zone. The home teams will be able to choose from four different messages each week:

  • End Racism
  • Stop Hate
  • Choose Love
  • Inspire Change

You may notice one difference from last year’s messages. “Inspire Change” has replaced last season’s “Vote”, as the U.S. held its presidential elections in November of last year. Now, Donald Trump is president and attempting to end all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. League commissioner Roger Goodell said last year that the NFL would not be changing or removing its messaging nor stopping its efforts.

“We got into diversity efforts because we felt it was the right thing for the National Football League,” Goodell said. “And we’re going to continue those efforts because we’ve not only convinced ourselves, we’ve proven it to ourselves. It does make the NFL better.

Teams can rotate messages during the season, as the Philadelphia Eagles plan to do, while international games will continue to feature “End Racism” and “It Takes All of Us” exclusively. Players may also display the messages on helmet decals.

Since 2017, the league’s Inspire Change initiative has invested over $460 million into community programs, supporting mentorship, workforce development, food security, and grassroots organizations. The NFL frames these on-field messages as part of its ongoing role in promoting unity and amplifying player voices.
