Ultimate game day delight: The best 30-minute dip recipe to guarantee Super Bowl party success
The NFL Championship Game always sparks an increase in retail spending, with billions added to the economy every year.

The Super Bowl is nearly here and football fans, along with many Taylor Swift devotees, will be making plans for the big day. Beyond the on-field action, Super Bowl Sunday is a mammoth national event that has a significant impact on the US economy.
A report from the National Retail Federation last year found that the Super Bowl generates around $17.3 billion, with the average American spending around $85 on Super Bowl-rated purchases in 2024. That spend might be on clothing, new furniture, TV upgrades or, most likely, food and drink.

Looking ahead to this year’s game, one user on AllRecipes has submitted what they claim to be the ‘Best Football Dip Ever’. Here’s a look at the recipe...
How to make the ‘Best Football Dip Ever’
User DICE40OUNCE advises that this is intended for three to six people, to be eaten over the course of a Sunday afternoon watching football. It’s a heavy dish but it’ll keep you feeling full for the duration of Super Bowl Sunday.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef; 8 ounce cream cheese; 8 ounce prepared salsa; 1 pound loaf processed cheese slices.
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step 2. Place the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring to crumble, until no longer pink. Drain off grease.
Step 3. Spread the cream cheese in an even layer in the bottom of a 9 inch square baking dish. Spread a layer of salsa over the cream cheese, then cover with a layer of ground beef. Top with slices of processed cheese and cover the dish with aluminium foil.
Step 4. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until heated through. Serve hot.
That’s it, a hearty dip for a Super Bowl party. Serve with chips, fries, bread sticks or whatever your dipper of choice may be.
