When was the last time the 49ers made it to the NFC Championship Game?
The Niners are regaining the prominence that characterized them in years past.
The team’s last appearance at this stage in the playoffs was very recent. Last season, they reached the National Conference title game, in which they faced the Los Angeles Rams.
However, the 49ers lost to the Rams by a score of 17-20, and the Los Angeles team later went on to be crowned champions of Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals.
When was the last time the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl?
Making it to the finals was a different matter. It was in Super Bowl LIV in the 2019 season when they last appeared in a fight for the Vince Lombardi trophy. They were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 31-20.
