Who is singing the national anthem for Game 2 at the 2025 World Series?
The Toronto Blue Jays drew first blood in the Fall Classic, beating the Dodgers 4-11 in front of a home crowd to record their first World Series game since 1993.

A raucous sell-out crowd at Toronto’s Rogers Centre watched the Blue Jays take the first game of the 2025 World Series - and their first victory in a Fall Classic game since 1993.
With an explosive nine-run inning, it was also the highest-scoring inning in the Canadian franchise’s postseason history - and featured the first pinch-hit grand slam in World Series history, courtesy of Addison Barger.

The action continues in Game 2 at Rogers Centre tonight, before heading to Dodger stadium Monday.
The American League champions dream of winning their third World Series title, over 30 since recording back-to-back triumphs in 1992 and 1993.
Game 2 national anthem duty
After Pharrell Williams and Voices of Fire performed the honors before Friday’s opening game, it will be the turn of Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara to perform a rendition of Canada’s national anthem, O Canada, while R&B artist Bebe Rexha will belt out the Star-Spangled Banner.
Cara joins a list of artists who have performed O Canada at the World Series, including Michael Burgess, Anne Murray, Tom Cochrane and Rita MacNeil.
Tournament organizers confirmed on Saturday that the Jonas Brothers will perform partway through the game as part of a partnership with Stand Up to Cancer.
