Update:

The Jaguars (13-4) head into the Wild Card Series in an impressive run of form - eight straight wins for Liam Coen’s men, a epic finale to the regular season in his first year in charge.

Standing in the way of a place in the next round are Buffalo (12-5), who finished just a couple of places below Jacksonville and are aiming to head into the postseason for the seventh year running. The Bills’ last Super Bowl appearance was back in 1993, the last of four consecutive appearances, all of which they lost.

This will be the third time that the Jags and the Bills have crossed paths at the Wild Card stage, with Jacksonville advancing on both occasions (1996 and 2017). Overall, the historical head-to-head record is split 50:50 with both teams on 10 wins each. The most recent meeting, in September 2024, ended with a 47-10 home win for the Bills.

Local singer to sing the ‘Star Spangled Banner’

Susan Tedeschi, the lead singer with Jacksonville-based rockers Tedeschi Trucks Band will be taking center stage at EverBank Stadium to sing the national anthem before the game gets underway.

The group, known for their blend of blues, gospel, soul and Americana, were formed in 2010 and have released several studio albums and built a reputation for their live performances, mixing their own material with classic covers.

Susan Tedeschi has been married to bandmate, guitar player Derek Trucks since 2001. The couple, who are both Jaguars season ticket-holders, have two children. Tedeschi, a six-time Grammy nominee has performed the national anthem on four occasions before Jaguars games - in 2012, 2018 and 2023.
