Update:

Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams will not be playing today, Sunday 13 October, against the Steelers as he continues to suffer from the hamstring injury that has kept him out since week 3.

There had been some hopes he would be back, but the Raiders have officially rules him out after he failed to take part in practice this week.

Impact of Davante Adams absence

With this being the third consecutive game that Adams has missed, the Raiders have been noticing his absence on offence, with the team struggling to find consistency in the passing game. They are currently 2-3 on the season.

Fellow wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

With Adams still struggling to recover, rumors have been swirling about a possible trade, with the wide receiver having requested a move.
