The Dallas Cowboys are gearing up for a challenging Week 15, but they’ll have to do so without key defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins. Following the team’s recent victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, it’s been confirmed that Hankins suffered a high ankle sprain, significantly impacting the Cowboys’ defense strategy. This injury leaves the team in a precarious position as they prepare to counter the Buffalo Bills’ robust ground offense.

Cowboys injury news

The injury woes for the Cowboys don’t end with Hankins. The team has been grappling with a bout of illness, affecting several players, including cornerback Stephon Gilmore and safety Malik Hooker, both listed as questionable for the upcoming game.

Gilmore’s situation is particularly noteworthy as he is one of four Cowboys players recently affected by sickness, a development that also influenced linebacker Micah Parsons’ availability in the previous game against the Eagles. Despite these setbacks, Parsons played through and is expected to be fully available for the Bills matchup.

Bills injury news

On the other side, the Buffalo Bills are also facing their share of injury concerns. Two of their crucial defenders are confirmed to be sitting out, with a third player’s status marked as questionable. More importantly on the Bills’ injury front is the news over quarterback Josh Allen, who’s been nursing a right shoulder injury, but he did not receive a game designation.
