The second week of the 2024 Olympic Games has started, with some of the most spectacular competitions about to begin. Artistic swimming events are among them, with the best female athletes ready to put on a show in the swimming pools of the French capital.

It was the first time men were allowed to compete in artistic swimming competitions since its debut in the 1984 Summer Olympics, but none were named to any rosters.

The People’s Republic of China is one of the favorites for team and duet gold. They took the silver in the team and duet competitions in Tokyo 2021 and recently became the world champions at Doha 2024. The United States, Spain, and Ukraine were also on the podium during team competition and will try to make a big impact in the Paris Games.
