The excitement is building for the huge clash between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois for the IBF World Heavyweight title.
However, that bout is not the only fixture on the list, which has been packed with fantastic match-ups across the board. A total of five other fights are scheduled to happen on the undercard, which is set to get going at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday 21 September.
Around 90,000 fans are expected at Wembley as the English venue is set to host its first fight since 2022, after Saudi Arabia did a good job in taking the clashes to the middle east.
Full fight card September 21:
The belt, once held by Joshua, was most recently claimed by Oleksandr Usyk, who became the undisputed heavyweight champion after defeating Tyson Fury in May. However, the 37-year-old had to relinquish the title after choosing a rematch with Fury over facing the mandatory challenger.
Dubois, the current titleholder, secured the IBF Interim belt in his last fight. When Usyk agreed to the rematch with Fury, the Interim title was elevated to the full world championship. Now, Joshua and Dubois are set to clash at Wembley Stadium in London.
“I aim to knock him out”, Dubois said. “That’s the programme. That’s the mindset, that’s the intention coming into this fight. I’m going to focus my whole life into destroying it and just being a good destroyer, a good conqueror.. Go through them. Go through whatever I have to go through… No retreat, no surrender. And go out there and perform like a warrior.”
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile said he was “just willing to fight anyone. This is my 13th world title fight. So that must mean whoever’s at that level or whoever’s going to come to that level, I’m going to have to compete with. We’re all here to do a job. We’re all here as warriors to fight each other.”
The main card on DAZN PPV begins at 11 a.m. ET in the U.S. and is available for the price of $19.99). Ring walks for the main event are expected at 5:30 p.m. ET with fans able to follow the AS USA live coverage on with our very own Jeff May.
