The long-awaited CrossFit Games will take place between August 8 and 11, and will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2024.

One more year, one of the most famous competitions in the world of CrossFit returns, the Games, which, after seven years of being held in Madison, Wisconsin, changed location in a new move for this sport, moving to Fort Worth, Texas.

It is a place where athletes will not only face 12 difficult events spread over four days but also battle dry weather and high temperatures. These difficulties have led the organization to bring more tests inside the stadium.

The events will begin with a running and swimming event in which participants must complete four miles (more than 6.4 kilometers). However, as is customary in each edition, we will have to wait until the Games begin to find out about the rest of the events.

In 2024, the CrossFit Games will have a Spanish representation similar to last year. While in 2023 Fabian Beneito and Elena Carratalá participated, in 2024 Aniol Ekai and Calum Clements will do so, making their debut in this competition.

Aniol arrives at the Games after securing his place in fourth place, beating most of his European rivals with a near-perfect semi-final. He had worked in the United States almost a month before the competition to adapt to the climate, coinciding with other athletes such as Ricky Garard and Alex Gazan.

Calum, meanwhile, secured ninth place out of 10 in the European region. Thanks to a good performance in the last semi-finals, he earned one of the tickets to Texas, where he will try to cause a surprise and sneak in among the fittest athletes on the planet.
