Nobody wanted to miss the big fight. Manny Pacquiao and Mike Tyson were in the audience. Floyd Mayweather entered the ring with Gervonta, showing that there was no longer any problem between them. The arrivals of both boxers were a spectacle to behold. Ryan Garcia came out with a slower, more soulful song, while Davis came out with a strong beat. The crowd did not stop cheering, the T-Mobile Arena was a party.

Gervonta moved around the ring very well, but the Californian landed a double jab and right hand combination. The level increased in the second round. Garcia would go all out, throwing combinations, but Tank would stay with him. It seemed that the fight was under the control of the boxer of Mexican descent, but then Gervonta arrived with a left to the face that sent him straight to the canvas. It was the second time in his entire career King Ry was going to the ground, but he got up.
Davis was now in control. He set the pace and distance with the jab. Ryan was chasing him around the ring, but more carefully after he had gone to the canvas. In the fourth round, Tank shifted into gear, searching for Ryan’s body with jabs. The intentions of the Baltimore man were already visible. He connected with a good left to the face. There was no shortage of mockery and comments during the assaults. King Ry responded with a right hand, and they exchanged blows.
Then, in the seventh round just as he had predicted, the punch that ended it all came. García was landing good combinations, but Gervonta hit him with a left to the liver that sent Ryan to the canvas. This time he wouldn’t beat the referee’s count.
