How much do tickets cost for the Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo fight?
The Mexican and the American will collide on Saturday night in what’s considered to be one of the best fights in 2023.
Everything is set in Las Vegas to host one of the best boxing matchups of the year at T-Mobile Arena. Saúl Álvarez and Jermell Charlo will meet inside the ring with the Mexican’s all four super middleweight belts on the line.
Canelo has been widely criticized for his last performances and the Guadalajara native is willing to prove all his doubters wrong when he takes on the light middleweight king, who is looking to become undisputed champion at the 168 lbs division too.
“I still believe I’m number one. You need to believe in yourself. I think Jermell Charlo is the perfect fight right now (...). He never believed in my skills, but he’s gonna find out soon. He and his brother didn’t believe in my skills and that motivates me for this fight”, Canelo said.
However, quite a few boxing pundits believe Charlo has a good chance of outpointing Canelo and pulling off the upset if he uses a similar gameplan to Dmitry Bivol’s in May 2022.
After recovering from a broken hand surgery, Charlo could have challenged WBO mandatory challenger Tim Tszyu. But in the end, he decided to accept Canelo’s offer instead. He will be stripped of his light middleweight belts when he takes on the Mexican superstar.
How much are the Canelo-Charlo tickets?
Some months ago, Canelo and PBC Promotions signed a three-fight deal for more than $100 million. It was first rumored that Errol Spence Jr. and David Benavidez would be two of his rivals in the pack of fights he signed, but in the end, Jermell Charlo will be Canelo’s first opponent and so far the only one that is official.
“Now is the right time for this fight. We’re in our primes and at our best,” Charlo said.
What seems undeniable is that every time Canelo steps into the ring, he attracts lots of attention. He’s known to be the cash cow of boxing by his colleagues and most of his fights have done well in terms of PPV buys and also number of attendants to see him fight live.
According to Vividseats, there’s a wide range of prices to watch the Canelo-Charlo showdown. The cheapest tickets that can be found are $222, while those who want closer seats will find tickets starting from $572.
The most expensive seats are the Floor ones and they go from $1,534 to $18,516.
