How much prize money does the winner get at The Genesis Invitational?
Here’s how much is in the huge prize pot for The Genesis Invitational.

The Genesis is once again a premier event on the PGA Tour this season, featuring a 72-player field that includes 46 of the world’s top 50 golfers.
After the wildfires which swept through California last month, the South Course will host the tournament instead of it’s usual location at the Riviera Country Club.
Why is Tiger Woods not playing in the Genesis Invitational?
Tiger Woods will unfortunately not be participating in the Genesis. The legendary golfer announced the sudden death of his mother, Kultida, last week and as such he has quite rightly put golf to one side for the time being. Jake Knapp will step in and take his spot.
Who is participating in the Genesis Invitational?
Rory McIlroy, paired with Viktor Hovland and Adam Scott, comes into the tournament fresh off an impressive win at Pebble Beach.
He will compete against defending champion Hideki Matsuyama and be joined by Ryder Cup teammates Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Sepp Straka, Ludvig Aberg, Robert MacIntyre and Justin Rose.
Two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler will also be participating.
