Iga Swiatek is the 2022 US Open champion: how many grand slams titles has she won?
Iga Świątek continued a brilliant 2022 season by defeating Ons Jabeur at the US Open final and capturing her second Grand Slam title of the year.
World number one Iga Swiatek continued her winning ways and overwhelmed Ons Jabeur at the US Open final to become the first Polish woman to win the tournament.
It was the second Grand Slam title of the year for the 21-year-old, who won the French Open in June.
Swiatek showed mastery from the beginning, exhibiting the form that made her the top women’s player in the world. She stopped whatever momentum Jabeur was able to muster, ending the first set quickly.
