Who is Justin Rose married to? Meet the golfer’s wife and former gymnast Kate Rose

Update:

Justin Rose might be the one competing in majors and Ryder Cups – but his wife, Kate Rose, has been quietly central to his success for decades. Married since 2006, she’s not only supported his career on the road and at home, but helped shape it – and even caddied for him once on their wedding anniversary.

They met through work in the early 2000s, when Kate was an assistant at IMG, the agency that represented Justin. She’s from Chiswick in West London, studied French and Italian at the University of Sussex, and once trained in gymnastics. These days, she’s more likely to be skiing in Aspen or running charity events than flipping across a mat – but sport has always been part of her life.

Do Justin and Kate have children?

Kate and Justin have two children, Leo and Charlotte (aka Lottie) born in 2009 and 2012, and have lived in London, Florida, and the Bahamas. Leo plays soccer, Lottie rides horses, and both occasionally appear in their parents’ Instagram tributes, as you can see.

In 2009, the couple launched the Kate and Justin Rose Foundation, which fights childhood hunger and supports education in Central Florida. During the pandemic, they also created the Rose Ladies Series to give female golfers competitive opportunities when most tours were shut down.

Justin once called Kate the “heart of gold” behind it all – and even changed his golf ball number to 99, because 9 is her lucky number.

So yes, Kate Rose is his wife, but she’s also his business partner, charity co-founder, and – at least once – his caddy. And she’ll be cheering him on amid the noise of the home crowd at the Ryder Cup this weekend.
