Nine months and 12 days - that’s how long this year’s Formula 1 championship will last, the 75th in a row, making it the longest in history. Perhaps the least interesting, considering the events during the last season, but also testing, which hints at the continuation of the dominance of Max Verstappen and Red Bull. Although we have become accustomed to multi-year dominance of specific teams and drivers in the last twenty seasons, Verstappen moved the scale even further in the previous season. The Dutch driver had only one bad race, which was in Singapore, when he was fifth, while in the remaining races, he recorded 19 wins and two-second places.

Simply put, Red Bull has been great; they have done the best possible job enforcing the rules in the current era of Formula 1, while the other teams have been underachieving and still appear to be. Everything seen during 2023 and the pre-season testing indicates that Verstappen could even more convincingly walk to title number four and will leave only crumbs for the others. And it’s just a question of who will be the best.
