América and Monterrey with highest attendances so far in Liga MX Clausura 2023
Both clubs lead the way in the Liga MX Clausura 2023 table and both sides have been involved in some of the highest attendance figures as the regular season phase comes to an end.

Saturday’s match between Cruz Azul and Club América saw the best attendance of the Clausura 2023, to date with two match days remaining before the end of the regular season.
According to data from Liga MX, on Saturday night 66,364 fans were present at the Estadio Azteca to watch the action between La Máquina and Las Águilas, which culminated in a 3-1 azulcrema win.

Top 5 highest attended games of the 2023 Clausura
Until Saturday’s Cruz Azul-Club América clash, the attendance record in the current tournament was the one registered on matchday 14, when the Águilas faced Monterrey (a game also played at the Azteca stadium), with 49,974 fans present.

The side from Coapa also feature in the third highest attended game. The matchday 10 fixture against reigning Liga MX champions Pachuca delivered the third best figure with 46,273 spectators showing up.
The opening day of the new season, the BBVA stadium in Monterrey had an attendance of 44,498 fans for the Rayados-Chivas clash with the same venue recording the fifth best attendance of the season so far as 44,132 supporters watched Monterrey-Necaxa for the match day 8 action.
