Ángel Di María, the World Cup champion wanted by Inter Miami
Inter Miami will go all out for Lionel Messi in the summer, but another Argentinian could be on his way from Europe.
Inter Miami’s start to the season has started well after a 2-0 win over CF Montreal. The team led by Phil Neville have picked up three points to kickstart the new campaign.
Messi on club’s radar
The MLS side have focused on signing promising young players, but they are also looking for a world-class player who can help them become a stronger team. This is where the interest in Lionel Messi comes in, although he is not the only one on Miami’s radar.
Inter Miami targeting Di María
According to the newspaper La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus’ Ángel Di María, whose contract at the Italian club expires in the summer, is the new target for David Beckham’s side in the summer transfer window.
Miami want to add Messi and Busquets to team
The Daily Mail reports that in addition to Di María, Miami want to sign Messi and Sergio Busquets. Neville himself has acknowledged the interest in signing the Barcelona legends.
It may not be straightforward for Inter Miami as Di María is enjoying one of his best spells since arriving at Juventus. The Argentinian scored a hat-trick in the Europa League on Thursday.
