The name of Arne Slot is starting to echo loudly through the corridors of AC Milan. According to reporting by journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the Dutch coach has become one of the leading candidates to take over the first-team job.
Although the Italian club has not yet made any official announcement, several reports across Europe suggest that Slot has the backing of part of the board, which views him as an attractive option to lead a new sporting project.
A potential move for Slot to AC Milan is welcome news for Santiago Giménez. The two worked together during an important phase of the Mexican striker’s career, a period in which he further developed his attacking qualities.

Slot’s tenure as Liverpool manager has now ended after the club announced his dismissal last Saturday. In a statement, the English side thanked the Dutch coach for his work during his two seasons in charge.
During his spell, Slot managed a total of 113 matches, recording 66 wins, 18 draws and 29 losses. Among his main achievements was the 2024–25 Premier League title, a historic success for the Reds as it marked only their second league championship in the last 35 years.
