What happens if the CONCACAF Champions Cup final ends in a draw?
Toluca and Tigres contest another title at the Nemesio Diez.

The CONCACAF Champions Cup reaches its final this Saturday, May 30, a special occasion that marks the second decisive meeting between Toluca and Tigres in the space of a year. The match will be played at the Nemesio Diez, where the last time these two sides met in a final, the Escarlata claimed the title.
This time, however, the circumstances are very different. Both teams were eliminated from the Liga MX playoffs by Pachuca and Chivas, respectively, and after several weeks without competitive action, they return to the pitch to battle for the CONCACAF crown.
There is no clear favourite heading into the match, and none of the tiebreaking criteria used by CONCACAF in earlier rounds will apply in the final, including the away-goals rule.
As a result, unlike in previous rounds, Tigres will not benefit from away goals if the teams finish level. Any draw after 90 minutes, whether scoreless or with goals, will send the match into extra time.
If the teams remain tied after regulation, they will play two 15-minute periods of extra time, during which the new CONCACAF Champions Cup champion could be decided.
Should the deadlock persist, the outcome will be settled in much the same way as when these teams met in the Liga MX final a year ago: from the penalty spot.
