Barcelona LaLiga schedule for 2022/23

This season, Xavi’s Barcelona will be aiming to go one better after staging a remarkable comeback to end last season as runners-up behind Real Madrid in LaLiga.
Barça, who will be looking to win their first LaLiga title since 2019, kick off the 2022/23 season by welcoming Rayo Vallecano to Camp Nou on the weekend of the 13/14 August. That is followed by a tough trip to San Sebastián then back home for Valladolid’s visit in Week 3.
Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Clásico dates
Barcelona head to the Bernabéu for the first Clásico of the new season on 16 October. They won the corresponding fixture last season 0-4, some consolation in what was a disappointing campaign. Camp Nou will be decked out in all its colours when Real Madrid pay their annual visit on 19 March 2023.
Barcelona vs Espanyol: Catalan derby dates
The Catalan derby is another key date in Barcelona’s diary - they face Espanyol at Camp Nou in Week 15 on 30/31 December - when LaLiga resumes with the first matchday after a six-week break for the World Cup in Qatar. The two teams will thrash it out again at Cornellà in the reverse fixture on 14 May 2023.
Barça will play what will be their final game at Camp Nou until 2024 against Mallorca on the weekend of 27/28 May (the stadium will be renovated with the team playing home games in Montjuïc in 2023/24). Barcelona’s LaLiga season will be concluded the following week in Vigo, as guests of Celta on Sunday 4 June 2023.
