Cruz Azul and Querétaro draw with all Liga MX sides now on 12 games played
La Máquina managed to rescue a point at La Corregidora after Gallos Blancos dominated the game. All 18 Liga MX sides have now played 12 games.
Cruz Azul managed to secure an important 2-2 draw on Wednesday night at La Corregidora Stadium against Gallos Blancos de Querétaro. The game was the rescheduled matchday 4 clash which now sees all 18 Liga MX level in terms of all sides having now played twelve games of the Clausura 2023 campaign.
Cruz Azul cemented their eighth place in the table and have 17 points from 12 games and look certain to secure a place in the postseason.
Things look a little more complicated for Queretaro with a point at home doing little to boost their hopes of keeping their season alive after matchday 17 with ‘Los Gallos’ still occupying the penultimate position in the table with five games to go.
At the top of the table, Monterrey, Leon, Club America and Toluca hold guaranteed play-off spots with teams in fifth (reining champions Pachuca) through to twelfth placed Atlas set to play the play-in/Liguilla to establish the teams that stay in contention for the Liga MX Clausura 2023 title.
