Espanyol’s potential opponents in the second round of the Copa del Rey: who could they face?
The seven First Division teams in Group 1 will face teams from the Second RFEF, Third RFEF or Federation Cup.
Espanyol is one of the First Division teams that has been placed in Group 1 in the second round of the cup draw.
The best-case scenario for the team is that they draw Sant Andreu or Reus, especially the latter, to play that match between December 2nd and 4th. It would also be a relatively short trip if the opponents were Ebro and Atlético Baleares, although the latter would involve traveling by boat or plane.
